Secwyn guide for AI agents

People: copy the sentence below into your own AI agent. Agents: read this page, or the plain-text copy at /llms.txt.

Let your AI agent set it up

Using Codex, Claude or another agent that can use a browser? Paste this sentence into it. It follows our guide and asks you only to sign in, pay or connect your inbox.

Open https://www.secwyn.com/agent-guide and follow it to set up Secwyn for me. Stop and ask me whenever you reach sign-up, sign-in, payment, or connecting my mailbox.

You are helping a person use Secwyn (https://www.secwyn.com) in their own browser. Secwyn finds US companies that are likely to buy what the person sells, reveals the companies they choose, finds the right people on each company's own website, verifies their work emails, and sends outreach from the person's own Gmail inbox. This page tells you how to operate it for them, what costs money, and when to hand control back.

Use a browser tool (for example Playwright). The site is in English. Everything below names the exact buttons and fields you will see.

1. Ground rules

Hand control to the person for these steps

  • Creating an account, signing in, and opening the confirmation email. Never type a password yourself, and never ask the person to paste a password into the chat.
  • Any payment or plan change on Pricing or Billing. Never buy anything.
  • Connecting their Gmail inbox (Settings, Sending, "Connect Gmail" needs a Google app password, which only the person may type).
  • The first launch: before you press "Launch campaign" or "Turn on Autopilot" for the first time, show the person the plan (who will be emailed, the emails, the daily limit) and wait for a clear yes.

Defaults you keep unless the person asks otherwise

These protect the person's money and sending reputation. When the person explicitly asks for more (for example "reveal all Strong matches", "import this list", "raise my daily limit to 40", "schedule the sending in bulk"), do it and say what it will use.

  • Ask before one action that uses more than 15 Data credits or more than 50 Audit credits.
  • Do not change a campaign's "Daily sending limit", sending hours, or the Autopilot limits on your own.
  • Do not reveal, import or check addresses in bulk on your own; work through a few at a time and report.

Never

  • Never delete data, press "Disconnect" on an inbox, "Stop campaign", or "Stop" a contact without the person asking.
  • Never remove or work around the email footer, postal address or unsubscribe link.
  • Never import bought, rented or scraped lists of personal emails. Only add contacts the person has a lawful reason to email.
  • Never change account settings, passwords or notification settings unless asked.

Finish with a short report

Tell the person what you did, what is waiting for them (for example contacts that need their review), and how many credits you used.

2. Money and credits

  • Searching for companies: free.
  • Revealing a company (name, website, profile, who to contact): 3 Data credits, once per company. Opening it again is free. New accounts get 3 free reveals.
  • Find people on a revealed company's website: free (up to 20 companies an hour).
  • Verify email for a found person: 1 Data credit only when the mailbox exists; free when it does not exist or cannot be confirmed.
  • Checking an address before it is added or sent to (Contact check, List audit, "Check and add"): 1 Audit credit per address.
  • Outreach (paid from the Outreach balance in US dollars): $1 when a contact is reached for the first time, +$10 for a positive reply, +$39 for qualified interest, +$100 for an accepted sales opportunity. Nothing for no reply, bounces or unsubscribes.
  • The left sidebar shows the balance: "Free reveals left", "Data credits" and "Audit credits".

3. Sign up or sign in (the person does this)

  1. Open https://www.secwyn.com/signup ("Create your account"). The person fills "Email" and "Password" and presses "Create Account". If asked, they open the confirmation link from their email.
  2. Existing users sign in at https://www.secwyn.com/login ("Sign In").
  3. After sign-in the person lands on Prospects (https://www.secwyn.com/prospects). From here you can take over.

4. Describe what the person sells

On https://www.secwyn.com/prospects ("Describe what you sell"):

  1. Ask the person what they sell and who buys it if you do not know. Fill "What you sell" (at least 10 characters, plain words). Optional fields help: "Who buys this (optional)", "Buyer industries (optional)", "Countries you serve", "US states you serve (optional)", "Example customers (optional)", "Leave out companies that mention (optional)".
  2. Press "Save offer". Success: "Saved as version N."
  3. In the "Buyer profile" box press "Build buyer profile". Success: "Buyer profile built (revision N)." Read the summary ("You sell", "We look for") back to the person if it looks wrong; "Fine-tune" lets you adjust keywords and company sizes.

5. Find and choose companies

  1. Press "Find prospects" (free). The button shows "Searching…", then the page opens the results at /prospects/results/....
  2. The list shows the best fits first, marked Strong, Good or Possible. Names stay hidden until a company is revealed. Use the filters ("Fit", "State", "Size", "Industry") to narrow it.
  3. To reveal one company, use its "Reveal" link (3 Data credits, no confirmation) or open it and press "Reveal company". To reveal several, tick them and press "Reveal N"; a confirmation shows the cost; press "Reveal".
  4. Tick companies and press "Save N to list" to keep them in "My prospects" (https://www.secwyn.com/prospects/lists). Saving is free.
  5. A revealed company shows its profile, "What they do", "Why now", "What they likely need from you", and "Who to contact".
  6. Later visits: "New search" in the sidebar opens Prospects, and "Latest results →" at the top reopens the last search for free.

6. Find the right people and verify their emails

In a revealed company's "Who to contact" section (on the results page or in My prospects):

  1. Press "Find people" (free). Secwyn reads a few pages of the company's own website for names and job titles, and guesses each person's work email from the company's pattern.
  2. Press "Verify email" next to a person. Results: "Verified: the mailbox exists" (1 Data credit), "Not confirmed: this company accepts every address" (free; the person decides), or "No working address found" (free). If the mail server gave no clear answer, try again later.
  3. Press "Add to outreach" to carry the person into a campaign's contact form.
  4. The suggested job titles also have "Search on LinkedIn" links. Open them for the person; Secwyn does not read LinkedIn.

7. Set up sending (the person connects the inbox)

  1. Go to Settings, "Sending" (https://www.secwyn.com/settings/sending). Under "Inboxes" the person connects Gmail: "Gmail address", "Sender name", and "App password" (a 16-letter Google app password; the page explains how to get one), then "Connect Gmail". Stop here and let the person do it.
  2. New inboxes start at 5 emails a day and rise each week while bounces stay low ("Warming up").
  3. Fill the "Email footer": "Sign-off", "Your name", "Company", and "Business postal address (required to send)". Press "Save footer". "Send me a test email" sends one to the person.

8. Create a campaign

  1. Open "Outreach" (https://www.secwyn.com/outreach). Under "Campaigns" type a name in "New campaign name" and press "Create campaign".
  2. Emails tab: write "Step N subject" and "Step N message" (use the "{first_name}" and "{company_name}" buttons), add follow-ups with "+ Add follow-up", press "Save sequence", then "Approve version N" after the person agrees with the text. "Turn on AI writing" can write and answer emails in the person's approved style.
  3. Sending tab: choose "Send from", set "Daily sending limit" (ask the person; there is no default), "Time zone", "Send from hour", "Send until hour", "Follow-ups", "Days between follow-ups", and press "Save settings".
  4. Contacts tab: choose the "Company", fill "Contact email", "Name (optional)", "Job title (optional)", "Where this contact came from", and press "Check and add" (1 Audit credit). Or use "Import your own list" (CSV or Excel) for the person's own customers or contacts; it checks every address (1 Audit credit each).
  5. The right panel "Ready to launch?" lists anything missing. When it says "Ready to launch.", show the person the plan and, after their yes, press "Launch campaign".
  6. Replies appear under "Replies" (https://www.secwyn.com/outreach/replies).

9. Autopilot (optional, daily and hands-off)

On https://www.secwyn.com/outreach the "Autopilot" card runs the whole loop once a day: it searches with the buyer profile, reveals new companies, finds people, verifies their emails, and adds them to a campaign. Verified addresses are sent to; addresses that cannot be confirmed wait for the person's review; addresses that do not exist are skipped.

  1. "Which campaign do new people join?": choose the "Campaign".
  2. "How much each day?": "New companies per day" (5, 10, 20 or "Other"), "Only companies that fit" ("Strong only", "Strong and Good", "Also Possible"), "People to reach at each company" (1, 2, 3).
  3. Set "Data credits per day" (a reveal uses 3, a verified email 1). Agree these numbers with the person.
  4. After the person's yes, press "Turn on Autopilot". "Run today now" starts today's run at once; "Pause" stops it; "Change plan" edits it.
  5. "What it did" shows each company's result; "Need your review" counts contacts waiting for the person in the campaign's Contacts tab ("Approve this address").

10. Checking addresses the person already has

  • One address: https://www.secwyn.com/risk-check. Fill "Email Address" and press "Check Risk" (1 Audit credit). The top of the result says plainly whether the mailbox exists and whether to send; the safety score runs from 0 to 100, where 100 is safest.
  • A whole list: https://www.secwyn.com/bulk-check ("Pre-send List Audit", paid plans). Choosing a file starts the audit at once and uses 1 Audit credit per unique address, so confirm the size with the person first. Download the send, review and suppression lists afterwards.

11. When something goes wrong

  • "Please sign in first." or a sign-in page: ask the person to sign in again.
  • "Revealing a company uses 3 Data credits. You have N." or "Insufficient credits": tell the person; plans and Data packs are on Pricing. Do not buy.
  • "You can look for people at 20 companies per hour.": wait and continue later.
  • "No names on their website.": use the LinkedIn search links or ask the person for a contact they know.
  • A mailbox shows "Authorization failed": the person must create a new Google app password ("New app password").
  • Anything else: stop, tell the person exactly what the page says, and ask how to continue. Help: support@secwyn.com.
